Field descriptions: Stock issue

Field Description
Date

The stock issue date.
Description The stock issue description.
Number The stock issue number.
Reason The reason code for a stock transaction. For a stock issue this is to record an adjustment of a quantity in stock.
Site The site where the item is stocked.
Status

The document status:

  • Details required: The stock issue is not posted and stock details need to be entered.
  • Details entered: The stock issue is not posted and stock details are entered.
  • Stock posting in Progress: The stock issue is posted but not validated yet.
  • Stock posting error: At least one line of the stock issue was unable to be posted.
  • Issued: The stock issue is posted and validated.

Field Description
Actual cost

The item actual cost.
Expected cost The item expected cost.
Item ID The item ID.
Item name The item name.
Location The name of the location where the item is stocked. This field is displayed only if the site is location managed.
Lot The item lot number. This field is displayed only if the item is lot managed.
Quality control The item quality control status. You can define the values of this field in the Stock quality control page.
Quantity The item quantity.
Status

The document status:

  • Details required: The stock issue is not posted and stock details need to be entered.
  • Details entered: The stock issue is not posted and stock details are entered.
  • Stock posting in Progress: The stock issue is posted but not validated yet.
  • Stock posting error: At least one line of the stock issue was unable to be posted.
  • Issued: The stock issue is posted and validated.

Stock issue details window

Field Description
Document number The number of the stock issue record. This field cannot be edited.
Item The item name. This field cannot be edited.
Remaining quantity The remaining quantity to be issued.
Required quantity The required quantity to be issued.
Selected quantity The total selected quantity to be issued. This quantity is automatically updated when you select the stock lines and when you update the quantities on the selected lines.
Stock site The site where the item is stocked. This field cannot be edited.
Stock unit The item stock unit of measure. This field cannot be edited.

Stock issue details grid

Field Description
Available quantity The item available quantity.
Checkbox Indicates the line with the quantity to issue.
Expiration date The item expiration date. This field is displayed only if the item is lot managed and the expiration date is managed.
Location The location where the item is stocked. This field is displayed only if the site is location managed.
Lot The item lot number. This field is displayed only if the item is lot managed.
Owner The site that manages the item.
Quality control

The item quality control status. You can define the values of this field in the Stock quality control page.
Quantity to issue The item quantity to issue from the Available quantity.
Serial number

The serial number status. This field is displayed only when the item is serial numbered.

  • To be assigned: You need to select the serial numbers to issue.

  • Partially assigned: You have not selected the number of the serial numbers corresponding to the quantity to issue. You need to select additional serial numbers.

  • Assigned: You have selected all the serial numbers corresponding to the quantity to issue.

     

Serial numbers grid

This grid is displayed only when the item is serial number managed.

Field Description
From serial number The selected serial number, or the first serial number from the selected range of serial numbers.
Quantity The quantity of items in the serial number range.
To serial number

The last serial number from the selected range of serial numbers.
